How do you deal with death?

Constantly, considering I work in hospice. Honestly, it's the next natural step, and with the people I work with, they are usually very ready for it by the time it comes. Supporting families during that transition is an honor and really a calling. Your heart has to be in this work for you to be successful at it. I'm proud to preserve dignity and humanity to the very end of life, and consider it a battle against our life-devaluing culture to do so.
