Any burn units near Saginaw?

Hi,

I was thinking of changing my specialty from Correctional Nursing to Burn nursing. I like wound care and I think I might like the challenge. I have no critical care experience. I am moving to Michigan within the next 6 months and thought I might try that when I move there, however, I'm not too familiar with the Bay City/Saginaw area. That's where I'll be moving. I would be willing to travel to the Flint area. Thanks.

Hurley Medical Center in Flint has a burn center, which also does some bariatric care.

Check out St. Mary's of Michigan in Saginaw. They used to have a burn unit and may still have it. I moved 4.5 years ago from the area...so this may be outdated info.
