I am in my last semester, which is critical care, and I have a test on Friday and just can't seem to retain anything I have been studying. This semester has been really stressful, I have put off my whole family, don't get much sleep, spend hours and hours on clinical paperwork and have anxiety like never before. Sorry to ramble on, but I know other people in nursing school are the only people that really understand! I have a huge support system and my husband is my personal cheerleader, but I am a type A personality and I am definetly guilty of wanting everything to be perfect. I am way too hard on myself and don't know how to change that.

I think it's something about this time of year. So close to the end, you just want to be done already! And it seems like there are always a lot of assignments etc due around this time. We just had our reading week so there have been a lot of midterms over the past 2-3 wks as well. Every year when classes finish I am SO ready for summer vacation!
When I feel a little overwhelmed with school, it usually helps to just take a day off. Take a nap, watch a movie, go for dinner with your hubby. The world won't end if you take a day to yourself to recharge.

As previous poster wrote, it is that time of year. But which leaves me thinking, why is it always when it's so close within our reach, with just a little stretch, a little push to attain our goals that we get burned out the most?
My point being, hang in there, this is the final lap. Fight for it:)
