I applied and wanted to see if I actually have any chance. I had applied for spring 2012 but didnt notice that I had to take statistics which I am now in progress. But everything seems good. I just want to hear and compare my application. My TEAS score was 83.5 and my prereqs science is Micro B, Physio B, Anatomy C, Chemistry Organic/Biochemistry A, Intro to Chem B. My other prereq: English, Critical Thinking, Speech are all A's. So what happens to my statistics do they make it into a C or B for now or how will my points be for having one in progress. I have over 100 hours of volunteering and speak Spanish. The sucky part is that i dont attend STAN STATE or live in the area.I had worked in a clinic as an Medical Assistant for one seasonal term.
Do i have a chance? please advise.
Hey, I have applied to the RN program at Stan for fall 2012. I have an A in Anatomy, A in Microbiology, B in Physiology, A in Critical Thinking, A in English B in Comm, B in Statistics, A in Organic/Biochem. lecture, and currently have Organic/Biochem. lab in progress. Teas V score was 72 : ( I got all the extra points except for being bilingual. I would say I do think you have a chance because it all depends on the grades of the applicant pool. Some semesters grades/gpa may be lower or higher. Right now, my overall GPA is a 3.79. I'm jus trying to stay positive about everything eventually I'll get in somewhere. Stay positive even if you get on the alternate list because they could possible go up into the 20's : )
I know they say that they base acceptance solely off of grades, gpa, etc but I wonder if that's really the case..? I've had people tell me they had like 4.0 gpas but weren't accepted or they were put on the alternate list. Some people had lower grades than me, but the extra credit points and were accepted... So I wonder.
