Any applicants to Florida Gulf Coast University?

The director called me a couple of days before the deadline but I haven't heard anything since. I imagine if I were to get a letter i would get it quickly since I live close by. I'll let you all know if I get anything. Are you having to fly in then? Good luck!

Yes I live out of state and would have to book flights hotels etc. It can be done quickly but it would be nice to have a few weeks to plan. I also would have to get coverage at work since that weekend is my weekend to work!!

I called today and they said my application was sent over to the college for review today. Hopefully we will hear soon!!!

I just got a phone call from the school and I go an invitation to interview. Letters are to follow. I'm so excited (and nervous)! Good luck to everyone. Keep us posted!

I just got the call so I will see you there! Do you know how many are interviewing/how many they accept? I was going to ask but i'm at work and someone walked into the break room right when I was about to ask. Didn't want them to question me who I was talking to!

I also got called yesterday to interview. I'm so excited!!! Any idea what the interview is like?

I am trying to find out the scoop on what the interviews are like. I know several people that go there. I'm just waiting to hear back from them. I was told that there weren't really any clinical questions though. Expect to be there all day. There will be a campus tour and presentation.

Would you mind letting me know what you hear? Also how big is the class this year?

I'm trying to figure out one more glitch which is the health assessment course...apparently my school called it something different and I need to get it approved. Hopefully I'll hear from my BSN program today. Do you have any recommendations on where to stay....or where not to stay!!! We are thinking about coming for a few days to get a feel for ft myers since we are from out of state.

Just got my call! I was told they are interviewing 20-30, and trying to fill 16 spots. He said they are still making phone calls.

dang, so 50/50 chance. I was hoping it was more like an old post I saw where they interview like 18 for about 15 spots :) They did tell me that they try and let you know before you leave if you are in or not. Though not sure if I would want them to tell me I am not in and then have to drive 2.5-3 hours, lol!
