I'm scheduled to take my test in 2 weeks (I might reschedule) and I need any pointers on how to study pharmacology and age appropriate toys because these two things haven't really stuck to me. I am nervous about the exam and a few days ago I was reading the forums about having to retake NCLEX. I was in the library and was sick to my stomach and couldn't focus--I was probably having an anxiety attack or something LOL. Please help. I study for hours everyday and I take notes on rationales and I have done almost 3,000 questions but I still feel like I still have tons to review. I'm overwhelmed
Thank you.

Some anxiety is normal but if too much...can be overwhelming. There are some great cds via feuer review at f-n-r.net to listen too for pharmacology for nclex-rn exam. It costs $89 and really helps you to review content and remember meds especially if you are an auditory learner. I would not suggest going into nclex with very high anxiety because it could cloud your judgement. If you are not ready at this time...do review your weak areas until you are, even if that means re-scheduling.
Good luck..hope this helps.

do you guys have kaplan review book? kaplan have all the meds that you need to know for the test and also the infection control. saunders book have good review of developmental stages and toys.
I have the Course book for the Kaplan Review class I took. I'm starting to review meds from that book. It looks like I will move my test date forward by another week so I can have an extra week to study. I just want to take the test already (sigh) thinking about it is like a dark stormy cloud over my head and that follows me around everywhere. Whenever I go out (after hrs of studying) I can't have fun because I feel guilty about not studying and start thinking that I'm going to fail

I agree, I used Feuer Review CDs for both; pharmacology as well as content. Excellent resource.
