Any A1 Review Center Materials?

hi!!!

i think you can get their local board exam reviewer at their review center like for gapuz and kaplan. gapuz sells reviewers even though you are not reviewing with them, but for kaplan their reviewer are exclusive for their reviewees. Try also carl balita's reviewer available at national bookstore.

Feverish is right, you can get their review materials in the review center itself. But if you want a copy of the actual board exam, may it be from 1995 or just June 2007, go infront of PRC. There are lots of review materials there.... hehehe....

I never knew about this. I thought all the questionnaires from the past board exam are burned after the exam??!!?? And they're selling it in front of the PRC itself. What has PRC has to say about this?

So the statement that examiners sign that they should not reveal any content of the board exam is totally show.

Exactly, same way that some blogs from there sell questions from the NCLEX exam.

Is it the legal thing to do? Not at all and when they get caught, they cry that they did not know. But they are the ones that lose out, if someone does not know their material when they start to work, they get fired.

Stay away from material like this that is being sold in front of these centers.

Gapuz centers have already been discussed many times over and he has been arrested for what has been done in his centers, especially over the summer of 2006 with the NLE exam. More proof that this is illegal.

it only needs one copy, just one copy to get outside and all will have it. numerous vendors and even review centers have copies of past NLE (including june 07) they even sell a compilation of it.

problem is that the answer key is not accurate. refer a hard question to various 'experts'/lecturers/ reviewers they will have a different answer with the rationale to go with it. i guess that's the final laugh for BON and PRC.

I would stay away from those boot-legged 'compilation' copies. First of all, no one knows if it's even the real one. Seems to be fake. Secondly, none of the questions their will be repeated. It would be a total waste of time to review it.

Also, as far as Kaplan materials are concerned, you can only get the original copy of it on their review centers. They also regularly raid the places that sells pirated copies of their materials.

I know some well-known reviewers also now publish their own review books and that will only be the safe thing to buy coming from them. Anything else ....

Saunders is good too. And also the Lipincott Manual of Nursing Practice. And nothing beats the good old MS books to refer to in case one is not familiar with the topic discussed in the reviewer :-)

Oh by the way, I also saw this CD infront of PRC. Questionnaires from Sauders, Lip, Kaplan and other good references. There's this also 8:1 CD. This place is not included in the raid. I wonder why!!!

Regarding the BON's reaction about this, I haven't heard a single word from them....

And that is definitely a bootleg CD and quite illegal to have. Just because the government is not doing a thing about it, does not make it any better.

Remember that raids can happen all of the time. And these threads are read by officials from the US all of the time as well, and are very aware of what is going on over there.
