I'm actually trying to get into the Navy! I applied for the nurse candidate program and i'm nervously waiting on my recruiter to get back to me. I really hope I get in becasue we'll be super broke if I don;t!
Hi, this is exciting to mt. I was in th navy and has spoken with a recruiter this past week in reference to the Navy Nurse corps. Isn't that interesting. I praying about the decision to participate. It would be easy if I didn't have children and a husband. I hope you all get you heart desire. Smattleslet me know whether you get into the NNC. Crucian how long have you been in the navy and where are you station?
I got mines this afternoon and I didn't get in also. They thank me and rejected me. I wasn't suprise but I was a little disappointed. I needed to work on my GRE score. Hopefully we get in to one of the schools we applied to right. Take care and good luck on you application to nursing school.
Hi, Veronica77 and Crucian. I was rejected my first time at the school to which I applied. Don't give up...the pain you feel will subside pretty quickly if you keep moving forward and improve your chances the next time. If you have applied to any other schools, then good luck hearing from those too!!!

Thank you for your words!!! I just applied to one CC because is the only one I can attend. I can't move and the other schools are too far. Anyway, I'm going to find out what I can do to improve at least one point for the next time. Do you know if the second time is easier than the first time? Because in my CC there is no waiting list you have to reapply every time but they ask you if your file need to be re-evaluated. I don't know if that helps.

Good Day,
I am in the Navy and I am about to get out at the end of the year. I have applied to 3 Nursing Schools and I have not heard from anyone of them as yet. I am begining to get worried because I don't know what I am going to do or where I am going to go if I don't get into school. Have anyone heard from the University of Maryland Traditional BSN, MUSC Accelerated BSN, or Hampton University 3 year nursing program at the Virginia Beach?
I hope I get an acceptance letter in the mail soon
