Hey guys, I just need a place to vent and let out what I'm feeling. This is my first post, so bear with me. Right now I'm in my 4th year of nursing, and its great to have gotten this far but I still feel like nothing is connecting in my head if that makes sense lol. Like everything I've learned so far from labs, theory and clinical are just separated. It's hard for me to put everything together because I feel like I need to actually be in a scenario but when they say something hypothetically or give case studies I can't seem to follow them. I also have anxiety as well so I get nervous when I have to ask my instructors something without coming off like an idiot. I just feel really stupid in lab/clinical sometimes. It's frustrating when you can't seem to put everything together even though its in your head. Also I feel or that a majority of the skills learned in lab is either completely different once in clinical or not really utilized so they become forgotten. So frustrating!

Do you have a question that we can answer? Do you need some information? Reassurance?

See if you can find some case studies online to work through. These usually pull all that you have learned into a scenario. As has been said, the more you use it the easier it gets.
