2024 LVN-RN bride. I wanted to see if others are applying too!?

Hi everyone! I am currently waiting to hear if I get accepted into the LVN-RN bridge at AVC. I wanted to make this so we can all keep in touch and know when we get the emails of acceptance! I currently have 90 points with my grades and ATI scores. I wanted to see what points others have and any thoughts on the program it's self? I have heard positive and negatives but wanted to see if more people can chime in! I am also applying to COC (college of the canyons). I am hoping to hear back from AVC by the end of March which is when the nursing counselor stated they tend to reach us by.

I'm currently waiting to hear something as well. I only got 70pts in total. Did you receive an email saying they reviewed your application. I haven't received anything yet, but I know others who has.

yes I got an email that says my application is being reviewed. I turned it in mid December. I'm sure you'll get the email soon.

Interesting, I turned my application in Dec 14th. So maybe something this week. I'm praying we both get in. I heard last semester they was accepting LVNs in the program with a TEAS score of 62 which means points might have been between 55-65

You can always call and ask to speak to the nursing department and make sure they have your application. I did just cause im a stress freak LOL. 
 

I am sure you will get in! I was reading an old post I think from 2 years ago and LVNs were getting in with points in the 60s!

They received it I went up there like Feb 13 to make sure they had everything. And then today I went up there to make sure they had the correct email, because everyone was saying they got an email from them. So I started panicking too. When she pulled my application in February I wonder did she put it back in the right spot. That I turned it in, in December.

Hmmm,

I called 2 weeks ago and she told me my application was there. I would give it a few days I'm sure you'll get it by the end of this week.

I am def going to wait til the end of the week. I'm sure they just started reviewing apps and I'm just panicking for no reason. I'm sure of it

I also received the email saying that they were letting me know my application is being processed. So now the waiting game begins how stressful. How were you guys able to know how many points you have?

On the website, where it says Point system right under the application. You can click into it and it will break the the points and you can calculate it on your own.

 

also I still haven't received an email ? I'm hoping there still reviewing applications. When did you receive your email?

Thank you so much I'll do that. I received my email on Monday. I tried calling today to ask them how long is the bridge program before the semester starts but they're on Spring break as of today. Maybe more emails will go out once they come back from Spring break I'm guessing.

The program is one year long. Summer to Summer. Spring break starts Monday.
