2024 LVN-RN bride. I wanted to see if others are applying too!?

Hi everyone! I am currently waiting to hear if I get accepted into the LVN-RN bridge at AVC. I wanted to make this so we can all keep in touch and know when we get the emails of acceptance! I currently have 90 points with my grades and ATI scores. I wanted to see what points others have and any thoughts on the program it's self? I have heard positive and negatives but wanted to see if more people can chime in! I am also applying to COC (college of the canyons). I am hoping to hear back from AVC by the end of March which is when the nursing counselor stated they tend to reach us by. 

You got this! You have a good amount of points!👏🏽 at this point I think no news is good news. Maybe they're sending out denial emails before acceptance emails

Hey! I haven't heard anything back yet... I'm so sorry girl! Keep trying you got this! 
 

I've been having sooo many mixed emotions about AVC.... I've heard nothing but bad things about how hard it is and so on.... 
 

In comparison to college of the canyons I've heard nothing but GREAT things.... What is your opinion on these schools?

My other comment said how I've heard not so good things about the teachers at AVC. I'm having so many emotions. I have heard really good things about college of the canyons.

Hello guys!   I actually received a denial email as well today😫. To add to the comment about the teachers at AVC. I actually was enrolled in the generic program and didn't pass first semester by 2 points and the rumors about some of the teachers are true unfortunately! Which is partly why I was scared to re-enroll so I guess maybe this is my sign not to go back. Not sure

@NurseChels13 I had horrible things about AVC teachers too. I'm scared as well. They say AVC is the hardest nursing program. I heard COC randomly picks there 60 students. That they don't even go by the point system

@Cynthia55 I'm sorry to hear that as well. You just made me even more scared I heard Psych want no joke. And the Summer bridge teacher is hard and no job either.

I actually heard the Summer is not hard. But we will see... @chris2015 where did you do your LVN?
