Is it any wonder this mother of a serving soldier has a heavy heart?!
If you're by any chance reading this Mr Howard ..........
BRING OUR TROOPS HOME!
How sad, and perhaps a reflection of the BIG LACK of gratitude for our service personnel, that NO-ONE posted a comment of respect or condolence here in this thread.
I hope that poor soldier finds peace and his family comfort somehow as the result of his tragic loss.

WE WILL REMEMBER THEM

I, too, hope the family of this brave soldier is somehow comforted by the magnitude of his sacrifice. What a sad event; these brave men and wome, so far away, should be home with their loved ones. Now.
I'm so sorry.
THANK YOU, Don.
As you know, I'm a tad sensitive when it comes to our defence Force men and women.
I just thought it rather sad that no-one, and certainly not any Australian member here on allnurses, posted a comment.
I note that talaxandra posted a thanks to my post, but apart from that, zilch.
I sometimes think that, apart from us, the defence families, not many people really THINK about our service people. Other than if something is in the news or on TV etc, generally people are just so caught up in THEIR own world, they forget to remember HOW and WHY they are able to live so FREELY! *sigh*
