ANMAC vs AHPRA

what is the difference between AHPRA and ANMAC registration ?

APHRA is required to work as a nurse and ANMAC is more to do with immigration, that is my understanding

what is the difference between AHPRA and ANMAC registration ?

AHPRA is the authority that registers and regulates healthcare practitioners in Australia. They, together with the nursing and midwifery board of Australia (NMBA) are also responsible in assessing the credentials of overseas qualified nurses weather to register them or to provide further information prior to registration.

ANMAC on the other hand, assesses your qualification for the purpose of migration. It has 2 ways of assessing your credentials, modified and full skills assessment. Which is assessment post registration to ahpra and assessment without being registered respectively.
