And the survey says......

Just had my first day on orientation Monday. The preceptor was great, very nice, knew her stuff. She made me feel really comfortable. Even the supervisor was helpful. She gave me some great tips (some of which other AL users already suggested to us newbies when getting ourselves started in LTC :yeah:) So, I went home got my stuff ready for Wednesday all was good until I went to bed. I had nightmares that I was on the floor doing THE SLOWEST possible med pass known to man kind! People were yelling at me and I just panicked, I did not know what to do! Very scary. However I will not let a dream deter me from being the best that I can possibly be. I have seven more days on orientation, the next two on days then I finish off for the shift I will be working which is 3-11.

Has anyone else had this experience and this is "normal" or are my nerves just getting the best of me? :D Thanks in advance for your stories/ replies/ advice!

Don't forget all the alarms and bells that you hear in your dreams.

Not even in my dreams! I could be home sitting on the computer or in the shower after work and I hear the alarms and bells LOUD AND CLEAR!. I'm like did I take one home with me?

The day has yet to come where I say "SIT DOWN!" to these ghostly alarms in my house lol
