Hi,
I need some advice on studying for the ANCC Gerontological Exam. Been in LTC for about 3 years. I am testing in August. Bought the exam review (overwhelming but a great review) and the study questions through ANCC (questions were similar to NCLEX).
Does anyone know of any sites/exam reviews I can take?
Have anyone taken this exam, if so advice?
I have been getting mixed reviews which are making me very hesitant about taking these exam.
Thanks
Priscilla

I took the exam years ago. I didn't find it difficult.
Do you remember the styles of questions? Did you study?
I really didn't study since when I took the exam I'd been in the field for years. All multiple choice...mostly common sense stuff.
Thanks for the reply!

I agree - the exam was fairly easy, with a lot of common-sense style questions. I reviewed the sample questions online and felt comfortable with those and the exam was similar. Good luck!
