Hey all,

Quick question, does anyone know if the essay portion of analyzing and interpreting literature clep exam is required for the asn program?

Thanks a bunch!

I would call Excelsior and find out. I got the list from them of all their approved CLEP, but it did not mention anything about that. I am planning to take Spanish for mine since it is also 6 credits and I hate writing essays!

Hello again, thanks for your help. I did end up calling excelsior and they verified that the essay portion of this exam is not required. Just in case anyone was wanting to know. :)

Thanks again!!

Hey tashaLPN2006,

I was wondering if you could answer a few questions i have. I noticed that you have taken alot of excelsior's exams. this is actually the first exam i am going to take and i would love some advice, lol. I am so nervous about having to take a&p and micro. What did you do for these exams, how did you self study? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks again

haven't taken micro yet, but for A and P i got the recommended textbook, downloaded the vangonotes.com that go with the textbook and listened to it daily oon my mp3 player. I also found some audio visual A and P stuff on ebay too...i got a B on it.

I haven't taken this exam yet, plan on doing it Jan/Feb

The excelsior exams i just follow the content guide from ec and use rnbridgeprogram for the audio part...i'm an audio/visual learning, though i can remember stuff i read too it just helps it gel...sort of expensive.

I also buy the practice exams from EC to use too
