Hello and good morning to all. I have decided I need a short get-away, something completely different, and I have decided this would be a good, short one. If anyone has any insight on places to stay, to eat, things to see, and other attractions in this area, please post it. I am planning to go after the 15th of August for about 5 days. Thanks. :wink2:

Green beans with country ham!!!!! Oh yea!!!
And sweet tea to boot,,,,Ya got room for one more!!!
Sounds fantastic,,,,hope you have a great time.
As far as putting off the trip till October,,,,could be a good move!!
Now, that time of the year is peak tourist season in Holmes Co.
So, you may find trouble finding a room, and may have to go as far back east as Dover/New Philadelphia, or so. And the lines will be longer, and more traffic, but I'll tell you, the view is great!!!

I was raised and continue the old practice of having a spoonful for the pot, or room for one more plate at the table, so come on down and pull up the chair. Today is beef and noodles, corn on the cob, cornbread, shanty bread, and assorted veggies including fresh brussel sprouts. There is some cake left over and a watermelon. I am making hotdog chili too, with slaw and all of the fixings for the boys. I guess this is the best time for me, I love to feed my fellows and they love to eat so we spend a happy time in the kitchen. LOL!
