Hi everyone! Quick post- just wanted to give back to the community...when I was looking into various FNP programs that both fit my budget and had a challenging curriculum, American Sentinel was one of the schools that I looked into. Unfortunately, although I could find decent information regarding their RN-BSN program, there wasn't much about their FNP program.

It took me months of speaking with them, going through the catalog and finally occurring to me to look at the profiles of NPs on LinkedIn that graduated from American Sentinel to make a final decision. So, even though I don't start my first class until February 17th, I thought I'd just throw this out there in case anyone has questions later on as I progress through the program?

Hey everyone!
I will be starting the FNP program at ASU in February! It would be great for all of us to continue the communication and support each other through this! What are your thoughts on us creating a (MODERATOR EDIT) or even FB?

Good luck to everyone!

I don’t know about you guys but this covid wave hit hard and I’m not as motivated to start school. Work has been exhausting. I work in the ICU and we’ve been out of ratio, lack of resources, extremely sick ppl and the list goes on....

Hi, I was due to start on January 18, 2021. I had some unexpected things occur in the last week. I have decided to put off starting school for now and once things get settled, I am going to reapply. Good luck to you.

I'm good! I'll be in my 5th class (Policy) on Jan 18th. I was just in that class, but had to drop it due some outrageous work demands & falling behind. My prof for that class is brutal so you need to be on point LOL.

Is the program really hard?  I heard from friends that did different programs that NP is harder than RN program?  That is awesome you are right back to it.  Life is crazy right now, and on top of that you are working and go school.  I know you will get through it!! I am nervous and excited.  Was the exam hard after you finished the 3p's?  I really thank you for these post for us that are starting they are invaluable.
