Hello! I have been looking for a thread for ARC for Spring 2016 and have yet to see one so decided to start one myself! Anyone applying for ARC's ADN program for Spring 2016 that want to share any questions or concerns while we wait for acceptance letters? This is my 5th time applying and am really hoping this is my lucky semester!

First off, I wish you all the best of luck in this round of applications. I know how tough it can be waiting to get accepted anywhere. I know. It took me 8 semesters. Amazingly enough, I was accepted to both ARC and SCC for the same semester.

In my particular case, I wasn't allowed to apply to Sac State as they (and the rest of the CSU system) were not accepting any 2nd Bachelors students.

I chose SCC, earned my ADN, and now I'm working, as are most, if not all, of my classmates. It is possible to get a job with "just" an ADN. Not easy, but possible!

OK. Just got the Application Qualified status. I'm in the lottery pool! If last 2 semesters were any indication, first acceptance notification should be rolling in by the last Friday of this month. Gotta keep busy until then so I don't drive myself crazy hoping and wishing. I've never won any lottery before. Just not very lucky so I'm feeling quite pessimistic at the moment.

I don't think we will know until after they have finished the selection process. If it's anything like spring 14 and spring 15 it will be between 250-350. If someone who turned in their packet at the end of the app period remembers what number applicant they were we can get somewhat of an idea of how many applied this semester

Ha! I'm totally trying to distract myself by watching Netflix shows, too. Are you watching Fear the Walking Dead? I bought the season on Amazon.

My status changed to qualified on Thursday 10/8, but the only reason I checked was because I received an email from the nursing department. I did watch "Fear the Walking Dead" on AMC, it got to a pretty good start with the first season.
