It's a little early but I won't stop thinking about this process until it's over. I'm a little disappointed they're going to random picks over 70 points, but it is what it is.
Who's applying? Did anyone plan on applying but doesn't meet the 70 point minimum? How many points do you have? What'd you get on the TEAS? How many times have you applied?
I've got 85 points and got a 91.3 on the TEAS today. First round of applying.
Adri0418, ADN, RN Thank you for keeping an eye out for your fellow student nurses, I certainly would not post anything that was confidential, a HIPPA violation, or anything that would be inappropriate. However using the nursing directors name does not violate any rules and even if faculty saw my post, in no way it would cause any problems. The nursing director is a public figure and you can find her name on the ARC website so why would it be wrong to write her name? Plus when i spoke to her, i let her know that I wanted to let my family/friends know so they don't worry, But again i appreciate your response.
Okay, I may have good news for the alternates out there! (I was selected as an alternate myself) I went down to the office today and I talked with the Admin assistant of nursing and she told me that one person who was accepted has already declined their spot! This means that the alternates may move up by one spot! Alternate #1 is offered a seat for spring. So grateful for the early droppers! haha
That is great news! I wish the best of luck to everyone. I'm not sure if they're still selecting alternates, or how many alternates have been or will be chosen. I got an email just yesterday so there may still be hope!
Third time applying here and I haven't heard anything yet. I accepted a spot in Sac City's program recently so I think I made the right decision. In the past I got my denials by the third day emails started going out.
Hello everyone, I'm new to this site. Congrats to everyone that has been selected! Does anyone know the average number of alternate students they have taken each semester?? Iï¸ was selected as an alternate but I'm not trying to get my hopes up.
