Hi, did you just get the email? Bc my alternate email says  the due date to submit a reply was yesterday

yeah I received the email today at 8:54 pm and in the email it said I needed to submit a response by tomorrow. my guess is that a few people declined their alternate invitation recently so they are choosing more people to be alternates maybe?

#25 ? I know it's a long shot but you never know so I'm just going to show up and hope for the best.

Just received my denial, but was expecting it since it's lottery. I was able to get into two other schools tho so I'll be going to either one of them. Congrats to those that got in!

What other schools (if you don't mind me asking)

Rio Hondo and Santa Ana College in SoCal. Just wanted to give ARC a try even though it's lottery since it's closer to home. Already knew I wouldn't get in tho

Hey for anyone who got an alternate email, after you replied, did you get any other responses from ARC? Are they supposed to give more information to us about orientation before we go or is that only for those accepted into the program?

That's smart though! I just was curious what schools people try for in this area. It took me two years of trying and I just finally got into SCC. The waiting is so hard!

If it helps at all I still haven't heard back after the acceptance email! So I feel like maybe they're just catching up on emailing everyone still?

Yeah I figured it'd be better to apply to as much schools as possible and go wherever I get accepted instead of waiting around. It'll be worth it wherever I go ?

Incase anyone missed it all 3 emails were sent out last night with all information regarding the orientations an everything else.

I got an acceptance as well...BUT I declined because last month I got a call there was an open seat at SCC Spring 2024 and I'm already starting their program in January. If you are an alternate then you have a chance!

Congratulations! Can I ask how many points you had and did you have any previous health care experience for the extra 5 points? Wondering if I should get my CNA between now and the next round of applications.

I just got my acceptance email, but I've already been given a merit-based spot at the YCC program. I start Jan.
