I know its early but I wanted to go ahead and start a thread for ARC nursing program.
Hey everyone,
I'm hoping to get into the program and was notified that I was selected as alternate number 17. I'm from Fairfield, CA, and I haven't been accepted into a nursing program yet. I was wondering if anybody knows if being 17 on the alternate list is a good chance of getting into the program or not, as I'm trying to decide whether to accept the alternate position and drive out to Mandatory Orientation or not.

Thank you!! I had 70 points on my application, so just enough to make it into the lottery. My TEAS score was 90%. I guess this just goes to show that as long as you have the minimum points, your chances in the random selection really are just as good as anyone else's (which in my case I'm extremely grateful for, but I can see how others may be upset). Feel free to ask any other questions- I'm happy to help!
Also I didn't want to spam you all individually with thank you's, but thank you everyone and Happy Thanksgiving!!

That's funny I just reached out to someone else on this thread (individually) about that! I haven't heard anything yet, which feels surprising considering the orientation is already on Monday?? But the email said additional information would be sent out so I'm just wondering when.
Hey guys I just got an email to be an alternate and I'm pretty far past being #1 but I still think it's worth a try so I'm filling out the acceptance response. I was just wondering if you are able to put a signature on your forms because I'm only able to fill out the date, phone #, name, and student ID.

I just got my acceptance email, but I've already been given a merit-based spot at the YCC program. I start Jan.
