Hi everyone! My name is Christine. I have not found any post yet about the incoming application period for American River College ADN/ RN Program, so I decided to start one.
This is my first time applying at this school.
How about you guys? Is it your first time, as well? If not, how many times have you applied already?
I am going to apply next year at SCC and ARC for the second time. I got rejected at SCC on my first try. Hopefully this year or 2019 will be the year for me and all of us! :)
Just got this email from the nursing dept. at ARC.
All Los Rios District offices will be closed through Friday, November 23 due to poor air quality. Due to the college closure, the nursing department will be unable to complete program selection for the Spring 2019 cohort by the November 23 deadline. Our goal is to notify all applicants by 11/30. We appreciate your patience.

Sac state won't send theirs until December 3rd, so If we find out by next Friday and get waitlisted at least we know that there will be some movement the following week.
I'm thinking it's going to be tomorrow, or maybe I'm just really, really hoping. Lol The reason I think it will be sooner than later is because 1. They're already behind, so I'm sure it's a priority and 2. Because they need to give everyone a certain amount of time to accept and then be able to do the orientation next month. Gosh, I'm just really praying they don't wait till end of the week!
Wow, that's really close! I have a feeling it will be tomorrow or Wednesday, for the same reasons that Pillow2006 listed. One week to decide is a bit short-noticed.
