American River College ADN Spring 2020

Hi, everyone! Today (9/3/19) is the first day applications can be sent in at ARC in Los Rios Colleges for Spring 2020. I haven't seen a thread for it yet and thought I'd start one as I just turned in my online application. Good luck to everyone!

I just got notification I was qualified but not selected, so they are rolling out just an FYI. I got notification in my Los Rios gmail not the snap application through eservices. Good luck to you all!

I wasn’t selected. That was my 2nd time applying at ARC and my 6th RN program rejection in 2 1/2 years of trying. Congrats to those who got in! And good luck to the rest of us still trying! Especially those who have also been trying years already too. ?

Don’t give up. All these colleges are lottery so it’s pretty tough. There’s quite a few applications opening in February, like Sierra, sac city, and arc again. I’d even try delta and mpc if you can commute or move because they are merritt based Instead of lotto. Or go the private route. Best of luck!

I applied to delta this semester and got in! I was hoping for arc cause I live in Folsom but am going to make it work to go to delta! Keep trying other schools delta accepts 60 and 20 of those students are able to do a fast track program! Congrats to all that got in!

Thank you! I will be applying to ARC, SCC, and Sierra the next round. Moving isn’t an option unfortunately, and Delta is a far drive to do for school but I may just have to find a way to make it work and try for it!

Also congrats on Delta! I hope the commute will work out well for you! It’ll be worth it in the end!

Congrats to everyone who got in ? I didn’t get selected but I made it through the first round of applications for the UC Davis program, fingers crossed. Good luck everyone, hope those who didn’t get in will be selected next time

Ya it’s definitely not ideal for me. I’m a single mama with kids but whatever I have to do to get my rn I’ll take do! Good luck!
