Am I the only one?

Published

I've been in nursing school since September and I just realized that I have gained 20lbs  Good gawd molly - I have always been an active person - but w/school, family & work (and stress poss??) that's the last thing I'm able to do and I can't believe I've ballooned up!

Another classmate said she was in the same boat....just wondering if this is typical and how many of you are feeling the effects of school with tightening jeans ;). Thank goodness for scrubs!!!

LOL, you're definitely not the only one. I started nursing school in September as well, and I was doing pretty good last semester to make it to the gym 3-4 times a week....however I have yet to go to the gym probably since last semester. I have gained a significant amount of weight or anything. I do try to eat healthy and walk to and on campus as much as possible. I've already decided summer time will be about getting back in shape before the dreaded September :) Don't worry though you're not alone :)

in the voice of the late great michael jackson, " you are not alone"

Thanks guys!

It's just bothering me since I have always been so active and it's the LAST thing I could even do at this point w/everything on my plate!

Graduation in August can't come soon enough but I'm thinking I'm not going to enjoy myself in a bathingsuit this Summer ;)

This has been v. common for a long time -- you've never heard of the "freshman fifteen"? (pounds, that is ...)

Lol - No, I never heard of it but now I'm living it

I've actually lost about 5 lbs. I don't have time to eat.
