I forgot to add that they have changed the rules yet again, and you can't get the study guides for (I believe) 3 and above until you are enrolled.
There is a way around it. I am waiting for my transcripts to be evaluated and its taking forever. I asked the admissions counselor if I could get a copy of the 3rd test Essentials in Chronicity and he told me I couldn' t get it until I enroll and pay my $895. Well low and behold I got a copy late the other night.
This is how you access it"
Go on the EC website and click on the search icon
1. Type in: Course Content for Essentials in
Chronicity
2. Then Click on the first topic
3. Look down in the middle under Suggested Steps
and click on Free content guide.
4. Whoop there it is!
Now while they are taking there sweet time to evaluate my transcripts, I am half way through the 3rd content guide for Essentials in Chronicity. Probably will take my test the 1st or 2nd week in December. Good Luck everyone!

The page says 'Excelsior College Publications Request'. It has many exam content guides including NC 1 and 2 (Essentials of Nursing Care: Health Safety and Health Differences ect...). However, when I went to search or any of the other NC exam guides, I couldn't find them on that whole page. There is no exam called Essentials of Nursing Care: Chronicity or Essentials of Nursing Care: Reproductive Health, ect... do I only have access to those guides when I'm an enrolled student? Am I in the right area? The rest of the page has enrollement forms, catalogs, fees ect...
While I'm at it.. One exam content guide is for maternal and child nursing and it says (associates degree) next to it.. am I missing something? The courses listed in the EC catalog doesn't mention anything about maternal/child nursing.
