Am I Being Too Sensitive

I Have Been A Registered Nurse For Many Years And Have Worked FOr The Same Company Until A Recent Closure. I Took A Job In A Small Town With A Company That Has Offices Across The UNITED States. I Attempted And Did Complete A Year Which I Felt Would Give Me Better Idea About The Company. I Recently Rec'd My Evaluation FroM The Nonnurse Office Mgr. I Was Handed The Eval And Told I Could Make An Appt With The Branch Mgr (msn) If I Had Any Questions( By The Way The Branch Mgr Wrote The Eval). I Was Told To Xerox The Eval If I Wanted A Copy. I Was So Out Done And Felt My Services Weren't Worth The Time To Discuss. It Was Very Difficult To Accept Considering I Had Worked For A Company That Valued Their Clinical Staff. I Have Worked As A Mgr And Felt That Eval Time Was An Opportunity To Connect With Your Employee About Strengths, Goals And Feedback Noted Throughout The Year. Please Help Me Put This In Perspective.

I think that your experience would leave me feeling cold and empty. I guess they are not a warm family type environment over there. You would think that your evaluator would at least know you.

boy i sure know the feeling of being out in the cold! i have worked in a pharmacy here in watertown, new york, for six years this september, and this company is an warm family type of environment. but lately, it has not felt that way at all with me lately. i do not have a clue why and i tried talking with my boss and she is either too busy or too tired to talk and she does not seem to want to make an effort to make time to discuss things. whenever i need to discuss something with her she does not want to hear it and it makes me angry and frustrated at times because there used to be a time when she did. all employees at this pharmacy get two performance bonuses per year. usually we get anywheres from 700-1000.00 part timers and full timeres get much more. anyways, at christmas i only received 100.00 which is better than nothing but at the same time i did not understand. i usually depend on these bonuses to help me get by throughout the year. i know i should not be so petty about it because they do not have to give anybody anything. but in june, i never received nothing not a dime for a bonus and all the others did. i spoke with several people and they receive a very handsome bonus. besides that i just got the impression they no longer want me there and i do not know why. am i being wrong here or should i be real upset? i am in the process of looking for a new job. boy that is definitely a challenge! hopefully something will come up here real soon. i have a child to take care of and i am barely making it at present.
