I would really appreciate an opinion on this (my friend, a nurse, asked me to post here!)
I continually, formed or not, get the following coloured stools (see 2 across 2 down yellowey orange shorts!). I'm 34 and geting this baby poop and I don't know why (3 week now)...

I keep reading about pale/clay/yellow stools being a bile duct problem, however mine are not 'pale' as such. In contrast, i'm told that my bile is probably okay as they are yellow, and the brown comes later anyway so not to worry. It's just a big change, and my doctor does not know. Is this common?
I thought you nurses probably see more and know more on many subjects that docs :) Sorry to post being a civvie...
Any ideas - I would much appreciate them.

We aren't allowed to give medical advice, sorry.... if you're worried about it, you should go see your doc

What phriedom said.
I'm sorry, but it is beyond the scope of our practice as nurses to offer any sort of medical advice. The person best qualified to assess your problem is a physician or nurse practitioner.
Closing thread now.
