Alvin Community College Spring 2018-ADN

Hey guys! I did not see a thread for students applying to the spring 2018 ADN at alvin cc. Who all applied? I emailed Karen and she said "APPROXIMATELY" by Nov 17th they will send out emails as to whether you were accepted, on wait list, or denied.

Are clinicals 2 days 8-9 hrs or 1 day 12hrs?

Also, is there a summer break or summer classes available?

1st semester has clinical on Wednesdays that last from maybe 6am to 1pm? It depended a lot on which professor you had and I can't remember the details but it's 4 rotations. Just finished 2nd semester and we had 12 hour shifts once a week. Either on Thursdays or Saturdays. Mine was on Thursdays.

1st sem is rotations at a long term care facility and second semester is pretty much med surg in whichever hospital you get.
