I just found the thread. I got in as well. Still waiting on response from San Jac. Alvin will be an hour away from me, but I just gotta suck it up b/c I've had too many obstacles and sitting out another semester isn't an option!

Thank you! I have no clue when I'll hear back. Just found out today they extended the app deadline twice and now it's not until June 1st. At first I was leaning toward San Jac b/c I'd be finished sooner and the commute is all freeway, but after thinking about it, I think I'm gonna stick with Alvin. The pros exceed the cons.

Dang, I didn't know they could extend the deadline like that. Maybe they aren't having a lot of applicants?
