Hi I am new to this group. I applied to the ADN program in Alvin but haven't received any update yet.

Have yall received any email?

Joining the forum for the hopefuls of 2020. I was on waitlist #12 (Fall 2019) and then got in at the very end. I am currently a teacher and the school year already started, didn't want to leave the school/class without a teacher. I have decided this year I am putting all the chips on the table this year...So hopefully it doesn't leave me without a job if I don't get accepted. Good luck everyone!

Hi All !! I wanted to see who wants to create a groupme for Alvin college for fall 2020. I am not good with tech otherwise I would do it LOL. 1 1/2 week left till the end of May and the waiting is getting me anxious.

I'm taking A&P II along with Micro this Summer. I was missing the laboratory portion but decided to just retake the course for a better grade. What about you?

Will they accept it? I thought they said they would only accept the courses that were submitted/completed at time of application?

That's correct. They only accept the ones you have completed at the time of application. And if you're accepted, you'll have to complete the remaining courses you still have left to take before the start of the program.

I hope we hear something within the next couple of weeks. I need to know whether I should drop a couple of these Summer courses I'm planning to take, haha. It'll definitely take some of the load off.
