  1. Joining the forum for the hopefuls of 2020. I was on waitlist #12 (Fall 2019) and then got in at the very end. I am currently a teacher and the school year already started, didn't want to leave the school/class without a teacher. I have decided this year I am putting all the chips on the table this year...So hopefully it doesn't leave me without a job if I don't get accepted. Good luck everyone!
  2. I contacted the school to know my stats. It was really good to see where I stood, I think I did great! Just not enough spots for me (65 out of 300 applications). The stats will help me go from there with my admission process when applying to nursing schools. I completed my HESI late that's why I only applied to Alvin (missed all the other deadlines) but I'll be ready for Spring. If you're still interested in applying for Fall 2019 there are some schools offering BSN like St. Thomas University whose deadline is in July (I exhausted my financial aid on my BA/MS so I'm only applying to community colleges). See you in the hospital "Nurse Johk23" ?
  3. No luck at all, you worked hard to get in! ?
  4. I was wondering do you live in the area and took courses at Alvin previously. I think I lost points for those areas two things also. I have a Bachelors and a Masters degree, Overall HESI 83%, Reading 93%, GPA 3.9
  5. No, and no updates on moving up the list either. I would probably be the last to get accepted but I got an email about completing the background check, which it did say it will be good to get completed even if you don't get accepted (it can be used for any nursing program). No updates as yet. I know everyone from this blog is accepting their slot, but I wonder how many slots will become open?
  6. Your going to get in, I've seen on blogs up #10 has gotten in. I believe you will get in.
  7. So true, the wait was hard! Glad it's over now!
  8. All the way to the bottom, #23! ?
  9. That's okay don't give up. I'm on the waitlist but I'm not given up!
  10. I got waitlisted!!! Good luck guys!
  11. Nope..but hopefully in a few hours.
