Alvin Community College (ACC) ADN - Spring 2026

Applying to the Alvin ADN program for the Spring of 2026?

I am making this thread so we can all go through the application process together. I attended the Applicant Meeting today. Is anyone in the process of applying yet? Any insights into the program?

Hi! I am applying. I have AP 2 in progress and don't have micro done and think that will count against me but I am hoping my GPA and HESI are strong enough to help me. I also just got my CNA license and have a BA so we'll see, I know it is competitive and I spoke with an admissions counselor who made it sound like not having micro at least in progress would really count against me.

Has anyone heard back regarding their application?

Not yet! Patiently waiting, hoping to have a definitive answer before Thanksgiving. Sooner would be even better 🙂

Hi,

Have everyone heard anything back yet?

Last year, the email didn't go out until November 18, about two weeks later than what the school website had said (around five weeks).

Would anyone mind sharing their stats? I'm just curious what the current application pool looks like 😊 and if this is anyone's first or second time applying?

I haven't heard anything back. Did you receive an email for fingerprints?

I haven't heard anything from ACC yet but I did get an email for fingerprints. I am guessing that means I at least made the waitlist.

I am trying to stay optimistic! Hopefully we hear good news soon. Has anyone tried asking by when?

I just received my offer letter — I'm officially accepted!
I've completed all 10 prerequisite courses with a 3.875 GPA and scored 89.7 overall (96 in reading) on the HESI exam. I also hold a master's degree.
This was my second time applying — last year I wasn't accepted because I had only completed four courses. I'm so glad I didn't give up! Wishing good luck to everyone still waiting for their results!
