Alvin Community College (ACC) ADN - Fall 2024

Hello everyone! 
has anyone received updates on their fall 2024 application for Alvin's ADN program? 
I am curious to know the number of students they accept and an estimate of how many applicants apply.

I was waitlisted. 136 qualified people, 40 accepted, 30 on the waitlist. Apparently they don't share exact positions anymore. I emailed and they said they can accept students off the waitlist until the day before classes start!

my stats (if you're interested):

GPA: 3.33 

HESI: 94.8

Got extra points for Microbiology.

Did you ever get in off that waitlist? I'm waiting for my application to come back currently.

Yes! I was the last person off the waitlist and they accepted me 7 days before school started. Don't lose hope :)

Wow that's how awesome is that!  I have have a 4.0 GPA but micro was in progress when I sent off my application I ended up with an A finished last week....we should be hearing sometime this week or the next who got in l...did anyone get in that had micro in progress? Or do they only accept you if it's completed when you sent off application.

Well, I didn't know it at the time but they didn't consider my Microbiology class at first (based off a technicality) so I would assume it's not a dealbreaker. I was also in progress for A&P 2 at the time of my application. I was allowed to submit my unofficial transcript for that class after the deadline and it worked out!
