1. Answer ALL questions regardless if you've never been asked it before or you think it's "absurd." Leaving questions unanswered is pretty much a guarantee that your application will not progress anywhere.
2. Put all work experience. Sadly, clinicals are not considered work experience. However, nurse interships/externships should be listed, but be sure it's clear what they are. Also include volunteer work, but be sure it's clear that it was unpaid.
3. Some applications will have spaces for you to put ACLS and BLS. Others will wait until you have a job offer before they request copies of your cards.
Best of luck.
I only put paid work experience unless it specifies otherwise. If there is not a place that specifically asks for the certifications I would upload them and attach copies to the application or mention them in a cover letter. If they are asking for your naturalization number I would provide it; wouldn't want anything to disqualify my application. Hope you get the job!

Hi,
I am trying to apply for a new grad position at Alvarado Hospital in San Diego but it is kind of confusing. For those that have already filed an application with them could let me know what should I fill in?
1. Under "Work Experience" do I put any job experience, even if it is not related to health care?
2. Is there a place for my certifications such as ACLS and BLS?
3. I gain US citizenship through naturalization and they ask for the naturalization number. I just find an absurd as this is was never asked for anyone.
Any suggestion will be appreciated.
Thanks!!
