alternative program rejection?

Have any of applied to the program in your state and been denied? I am super anxious that they will deny me and then use my "admission" against me? Thanks. This waiting game is a killer.

    Most of the nurses, pharmacists and other healthcare professionals in inpatient with me had been caught diverting. I went to work altered. I don't see where you admitting problem would lead to rejection since self reporting is admitting you have issue.

    When we met to review evaluation results.... the healthcare advocate walked me through self- reporting. They deal with VDAP and the board on a daily basis. Once I self reported, my next interaction with board was to sign monitoring contract. Bradford sent the comprehensive eval ect.

    I applied and was rejected after being fired. I don't know if I would have had a chance had I self reported right after being let go. My lawyer said she hasn't seen people getting into the program for years in Ohio. Its all public (humiliation) for us here.

    I deactivated my license and waited. They took three years to get to me.. A year to find a job.. I start in two weeks.

    Man, that sucks. That's my fear. That they don't accept me. My lawyer doesn't see a reason why they wouldn't but after all the reading, I'm orettt paranoid.

    I deactivated my license per the lawyers recommendation. The board didnt get to my case for three years. I was able to find something in the mean time using my degree but not my license.

    Ill never get that time back. Three years of sick worry.
