Yes I am interviewing there in January and I know from a few people who have gotten in that the interview is intense. The first part is an overview of the program. Then you interview with the asst director who asks more of the general questions i.e. why do you want to be a CRNA, etc. Then you interview with the program director. She calls the shots. It's all business and you better know your stuff. Whatever types of patients, drugs, lines, procedures etc. you work with you must know intimately. All clinical questions! She wants to see if you are knowledgable in your practice and confident in your responses. For example, if you work with swans, be prepared to draw out the waveforms and how they correspong with each other i.e. where the PA falls on the ekg etc. Hemodynamics, ABG interpretation, whatever. It's intimidating and when it's over you leave not knowing how you did. Study up and good luck. Maybe we'll be classmates next fall!

Hi all,
Has anyone ever interviewed at Allagheny Valley in Pittsburgh before? Or is anyone interviewing soon? I searched the archives and found some old stuff, but I was hoping someone has interviewed recently. I interview in December.
