Anyone successful complete lpn to RN through allegany college or in the nursing program how do you view your experience.

@Chanelsworld where will you be doing your clinicals? I reapplied for Summer 2024.

I havent put the forms in yet still looking around I just found a list of places on the TBON website where theyre approved to do clinicals.

Michelle, how are you doing? I am looking into this class but I know nothing about it. I saw you are from Texas near Dallas and Houston as well as me. I was wondering if you could email me and help me answer some questions? I saw you passed NCLEX CONGRATULATIONS! I am trying to get there. I was wondering how the program went online, kinda nervous about that. Did you do NCLEX in Maryland or Texas? Any advice for someone looking to do this? Please and thank you. Sincerely

I I am in Amarillo. So not too close to you but still in Texas. I took the Texas NCLEX and I am licensed in Texas. I've never been to Maryland or the school. The class works was all online. And I found a hospital here in Amarillo to do my clinicals at. The classes don't have lecture or class time you learn from the PowerPoints they give you and then take a test each week. It's hard like all nursing schools. There are some details that have changed since I was there a few years ago but over the concept is still the same. The application process takes time so start dinner than later.  Good luck!

What did you guys study for the entrance exam? Any books on amazon to get??

I got my acceptance letter.  I scored over 900 so it says I start in Fall 2024, but then it has a Spring 2024 semester, is that supposed to be Spring 2025?  Or is it Spring 2024 skip Summer and then do Fall 2024? I'm not sure why this is so confusing.

@Christina Martin I have. I emailed the lady that sends the info out and she said the testing emails will go out next week.
