Allegany College of Maryland (ACM)

Anyone successful complete lpn to RN through allegany college or in the nursing program how do you view your experience.

@Christina Martin No I haven't received the testing information email. The lady at the school replied back to my email saying the testing information will be sent out next week as far as eligibility and testing window. I purchased Simple Nursing and I've been using YouTube. Still doesn't take away the anxiety?

@Neon8rn2B yes!! The anxiety and the wait for the results! Last time I scored 889. I needed 900 being in SC. I got to get back in the books. Are you OK with us exchanging emails? It would have someone to talk to who's already been through this process!

I actually listened to the nursing.com podcast. Has a lot of good info as well as teaches you how to pull apart the questions to better answer them. I downloaded an NCLEX app as well and practiced it when I had free time. I had the NCLEX prep book, but I don't learn as well studying straight from a book.

@Christina Martin I should be asking you what you studied! We're in the same boat having to retake the exam. But, we've got this this time around! What did you study?

@Chelsi Glein Thanks for the tip!

@Neon8rn2B I used Nexus NursingNursing on YouTube,  quizlet HESI lpn to RN review, and any HESI lpn to RN review I could find.

@Christina Martin I love watching her! Thanks for the tips. Post your email and I'll email you!

@Christina Martin just tried to email you but it won't go through....

@Neon8rn2B I sent you a message on here.

I got my acceptance letter.  I scored over 900 so it says I start in Fall 2024, but then it has a Spring 2024 semester, is that supposed to be Spring 2025?  Or is it Spring 2024 skip Summer and then do Fall 2024? I'm not sure why this is so confusing.

What did you study?

How much was the exam?
