All FSCJ Spring 2013 Hopefuls

Published

Hi everyone! I decided to start this thread in hopes of seeing if there is anyone excited about applying to the fscj RN program spring 2013. I am currently taking a microbiology class this summer. I would have applied for fall 2012 but met with some technical difficulties. I have 206 in total points w/o micro. Let's stay in touch and keep this ball rolling!

So emailed Cheryl James this morning regarding emails. Last fall students received acceptance emails prior to receiving letters (they didn't hear back until the first week in Dec. This was her response: "The letters always go out six to eight weeks after the application deadline by US mail no matter the semester. The only way they go out by email is when another project interferes and we have to email them out the last day of the eighth week."

So good news is the 8 week mark is November 26, if we don't have letters by then we will be receiving an email. I'm hoping we find our prior to Thanksgiving though!! :nurse:

Hey there..I started in the Spring of 2012. We received notification emails on December 2 and our information packets in the mail about a week later. The email doesn't tell you whether or not you are in the Day or N/W program. You have to wait until you get your packet in the mail and it will say which program on the front of the envelope.

I applied for Fall term and did not get in. The application deadline was 6/01/12 and my letter was postmarked on 7/09/12. So I am hoping that we won't have to wait too much longer.

Fall term 2012 recieved their letters and packages early. A girl that was in my microbiology class got in the Fall term 2012 and she receive her package the first week of July, and I also applied and did not get in and got my letter around 7/9/12. The cut-off last term was 189.9, but now I have 198.9.

It would be magnificent if this term letters went out early. Either way, accepted or not, I just want to know lol

I think we may have been in the same Microbiology class!! (North campus?) Last term, I applied with 158.xx points. I kind of figured that my chances of getting in would be slim, but I tried anyway! :sneaky: I applied this time with 201.xx points so I hope that is good enough this time around. I see several people have applied with higher points, but I am remaining hopeful!

Just got my packet!! Check your mailboxes

I got applied for daytime, too. Now I'm wondering if I should've applied for night/weekends. I'm worried about giving up my job.

Still waiting on mine, I live on base so my mail is usually 1-3 days after everyone else's for some reason. Does it say what the cut off score was???Congrats to everyone who got accepted!

It didn't say what the score cut-off was. My score was a 212.88, though, and I applied for the daytime program.
