All Excelsior Nursing Graduates, I want to hear your stories!

Published

Hello Ladies and Fellas!,

I'm anxiously and somewhat hesitant to finish my enrollment with Excelsior for my RN. I am a newly graduated LPN and I work two jobs where I basically attain a tremendous amount of clinical experience which I believe will advance me in this program. I work these jobs PRN so my schedule is really flexible. Also, I'm 30 weeks pregnant and have a five year old. Oh, And I also take care of my mother full-time she has cerebral palsy. Anywho, My Husband is a super awesome man who is willing to work while I'm a full time student and a stay at home mom until I graduate of course and i'll still be working some to gain experience. But, my question is to all you Excelsior graduates out there, what was your baggage during school? Am I absurd to take this on with a new baby coming?

Sounds like a lot but doable. Anything is possible. That is what I like about the flexibility of the program. They use to let you take 2 exams before you enroll. Do they still allow that? I did it before our son came. Completed the to program in 1 yr. I say go for it! This program changed my life for the better!
