Alameda County Medical Center RN Residency

U.S.A. California

Published

Hello,

Just posting a topic for Alameda County's rn residency application that had been up this past week. Last day to apply was October 12.

Just curious if anyone else applied and had moved forward? I just received an e-mail/status change stating that I was no longer under further consideration. Hoping to hear from those who were moving forward and wondering if you would also post some basic stats? BSN, when you graduated, certs. etc.

Thanks!

Does anyone know when this program starts?

The recruiter I spoke to said they were planning on starting mid-November?

Anyone have a status change yet? Mine hasn't changed yet and I'm getting soo impatient! HR stated that they hope the interviewing process to start end of October with a start date around e d of November/beginning of December.

Mine status is still the same from when I first applied & I haven't heard anything back yet. Someone on Facebook has gotten a call back so hopefully we'll all hear something soon!

Mine hasn't changed from when I applied as well. When did they start making the calls for the interview? Did anyone else get a call?

BbaileyRN, are there any details on the person from Facebook that got called back? Like if she had experience, preceptorship there, etc. (I don't have a Facebook) thanks!

Apparently they're interviewing Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday of this week. The girl who was called for an interview did mention that she had experience working in home health I think. Other than that I'm not sure.

My friend was selected for the position. Not sure how many others or what else. But from what I heard, you do get sent a behavioral test if you qualify.

My status just changed to currently being reviewed by a recruiter.

Hi there, I applied and reviewed my status, it states " Your application is being reviewed by a recruiter. If you are among those who best meet the requirements for this position, you will be contacted for an interview. "

To answer your questions, I do have a BSN, graduated August of 2012, have BLS/ACLS/Fire Safety and my RN license already. I also have a CNA/UAP license that I obtained during nursing school.

After not hearing back since I applied for the residency program, I got a random email earlier tonight inviting me to interview for a position in a second cohort! I'm so excited!!!

Reallly @ bbailey? That's great news!!! Do you know how many they're taking for this second cohort? What day did you happen to apply for the residency? Thanks!
