Al Kharj Military Hospital

Hello guys. I am a newbie here. I applied as Staff Nurse in an agency here in Manila. By GOD's wisdom, I passed the exam and interview by the employer of the hospital which is held in Hotel Sofitel in Manila. Now, the agency wants me to get my papers authenticated. I have my credentials authenticated (red ribbon) already by DFA. My problem is, I got it authenticated by UAE embassy. Do I need to get a new authentication again or is it possible to get my credentials authenticated by Saudi Embassy even though it is authenticated by the UAE Embassy? Thanks :)

@charmed: did u also give to arjoys your passport???? coz that's one of my problem with them they already took my orig. passport so, I cannot transfer to other agency. Do u have some friends that applied to arjoy and already work in alkharj??? bcoz I'm thinking if they are fake agency or not?? Thank You!!!

hi, I also applied in this agency, I'm having a second thought because of the price of their processing and placement. @kate - i check their status in poea, and it seems real. "Status : Good Standing"

@kate: no haven't submitted my passport to them.hehehe!i dont know anyone who have applied @ arjoys, but i do know that they have the same opening for al kharj last year and thru some research via web, they have deployed the nurses i think november na un.i asked the agency bout that because the processing took quite awhile and they said that they had a problem last year that's why it took them until november to deploy nurses. right now arjoys is not my priority because as ive said i dont trust them that much and considering the money involve, i am hesitant to continue with them,but the offer of the hospital itself is very good! it is really up to you guys if you want to pursue at arjoy's but as for me it is my second choice lng, tho my priority takes less money the agency that i am dealing with right now is somewhat trustworthy and the placement is salary deduction so all i have to shell out was the processing fee. so guys, Godbless to us all and goodluck to whatever path we choose to take!ciao!

Hi! I have an ongoing application for this hospital as well but through another agency. I passed thr interview and had my medical exam and PDOS too already all in the month of MArch. Right now, I am just waiting for the visa.

I was browsing through the net about this hospital when i stumbled upon this thread and found out that the visa could take more than 3 months to be given by Al Kharj??? Is there anyone who has an application a year ago still waiting for the visa? Because if there is then it would take longer for us 2011 applicants to attain a visa.

And oh yeah, i just like to ask for those who are working there already, how is the working environment? The accommodation? Salary? Is it the same with what you signed in the contract? Like the 15% allowance is really given?

POEA says placement fee can only be equivalent to a month salary. Did arjoy ask for more than the offered monthly basic salary? Because if they did, then its really too much.

With those agencies doing salary deduction, just be careful because they can deduct more than what ia required.

@armidevs: yup arjoys is asking more money. when compared to the salary offer, there is a fixed amount which is like 10-15k higher than the proposed salary. as ive learned from another agency, the placement fee would only consist of the total salary offered, not included is the 15% food allowance. in arjoy's case, they have added the basic salary plus the food allowance and then added some more to the placement fee. very abusive ayt? they are exploiting nurses that is why this agency is not my priority at this time. i should have known that there is another agency offering the same employer, al kharj. hehehe i should have applied there instead, AFR maybe.

with the salary deduction agencies, so far the agency that i am with have no bad records of doing such!what a relief.hehehe

yes, they were asking more than the salary that the hospital offered..the job offer alone is 40php and they want us to pay 50php for placement. since they add the 15 % living allowance (6php). Still overprice..

in what agency did you apply armidevs? are they asking for placement fee as well?

@armidevs: when did u apply for alkharj? and in wat agency? do u have any friends hu already work at alkharj? u mean in watever agency u r, alkharj is giving visas after 3 months???? thank u!
