Thanks Eaglesfan, hard being patient but all we got I suppose. Did your recruiter provide a new report date or is that something that will happen after the scroll? Any idea how long orders take after scroll? Appreciate it.

I'm still going active duty, I'm just waiting on my active duty scroll so I can make the May 22 COT.

Nice to know you have someone who is "watching" the scroll, or even the fact that you can see the progress of it. Our recruiter doesn't seem to be that connected. Wonder if that person is your recruiters boss?

He said someone way up the chain was talking to someone on the scrolling side. But as far as my recruiter is concerned for day to day basis, he can only see if it's been approved. I know your wife was supposed to report today. What has happened with that?

Hey St.BaptistRN, I know you COT date is fast approaching, any news on scroll? Contacted our State Senators office to see if they can find out any info. Said they submitted a request for onformation and it could take a month to hear..

So my commander contacted Randolph where the scroll is approved. Apparently there is huge delay this year. 15 to 20 people got pushed back from May CoT date to Aug. My recruiter said it was just a waiting game now.

Hello everyone, I've been following this thread for months. My board was in February, have been selected to attend the 14 August COT, but was given the opportunity to go 22 May. Of course I jumped on the earlier date. However, I too am waiting for my AD Scroll. As of Friday nothing yet, but I did receive a welcome letter from the 23rd TRS at Maxwell AFB for the 22 May class. My recruiter, said I could be told as late as the Saturday I need to report. Thank you all for your input, y'all have kept me abreast of so much pertinent information!

Okay. That's not reassuring. My recruiter won't commission me without the scroll, and says I can't even buy the uniforms, etc without commissioning. What going on with your COT? Are you really going to maxwell without anything?

Not sure what's going on with it, other than I've received a Welcome Letter for COT 17-04. I've ordered my boots, haha, that's pretty much it. Am I the only one who has received a WL? It's says to bring a Laptop or Tablet too. I suppose I'll buy the uniform items I'll need at Maxwell AFB. You're not supposed to report in uniform anyway. So there should be a day to purchase your uniform items. Also, if you haven't done so yet, start familiarizing yourself with the OTS Manual 36-2604 dated 9 Mar 2017. If you're prior service, some if not most will seem second nature.

Went to COT over 4 years ago. I think the 2nd day you buy uniforms. First day was shots and paperwork. Stood in line for like 12 hours. Wake you up at 0430ish. Bring a laptop because their laptops were 10 year old government ones. That take 10 minutes to start up. Going to COT in summer is better. Don'T need to buy mess dress. 1500 bucks saved. Make sure to be in decent shape. PT test 1st week. Dont need to pass, but need to be within 10 or 15 percent of passing score or you are sent home and your Air Force career is over.

Wife received WL some time ago but report date was May 1 and that has come and gone with no word on a change. Recruiter took wife to base and she bought complete uniform. Now problem is next month she will need to go back and start attending Army Reserve weekends or be in trouble with them. Has already turned in all gear and sold old uniforms. What a mess.

I found this site and wonder if anyone else is watching it or if is even the place where names will appear.
