I was told the board meets on the 8th and I should know something on or before the 26th. Has anyone else heard different?

My recruiter called me yesterday to let me know that the board meets the week of the 8th. Notification can be by the end of August or early September. He also said you should know both your COT date and assignment at that time your notified.

Board meets this week. I'm so excited. My recruiter is working to get me to MEPS. Anyone else going to MEPS soon? Please post when y'all find something out and I'll do the same!

Hey everyone!! I applied for January 2017 COT as well! My recruiter told me for sure we would know by August 26 but the last couple of years they have let people know 2 weeks earlier.. so that's ANY DAY NOW! Getting nervous

MEPS was kind of boring but wasn't too bad to go through, I went back in May. The hardest part for me was the depth perception vision test, but thankfully I made it past that. They spend a good hour to 2 hours telling you that you HAVE to divulge every little thing you could have possibly had happen to you physically. They used the example of falling out of a tree when you were 9 and hitting your head, even if you didn't go to the hospital. Then they tell you if you lie you will be in huge trouble. So you might come out feeling like a criminal but my recruiter told me that was normal. Good luck!!

HELLO! I hope my situation does not happen to anyone else, but I was accepted back in April, Fully qualified OB nurse. I am prior Air Force - served 4 years. I was slotted to go today 15Aug16 to COT but did not get my scroll and orders in time. So - long story short. Hurry up and wait. So, if I could join the FB page I would be so grateful! I tried to look it up but could not find it? TIA!!

Every day that goes by with no news makes me nervous. Hopefully we all hear Friday like we are supposed to! I'll post as soon as I hear either way. Good luck everyone!!
