Aiken Tech Fall 2014 hopefuls!!

Has anyone applied for the ADN program at Aiken Tech? I know the deadline for applications isn't until May 30th but I have had my paperwork ready and submitted it today and the suspense is killing me ALREADY!! Just wanted to see if anyone else was waiting to get in and wanted to see how many points others had, their GPA and teas scores.

Maybe we could rotate going to each others mailbox ....while we are work! Lol..i am off today and could be the mail checker but tomorrow i have to work so someone would have to check mine then! Lmbo!

What are you going to about the surgical tech if you havent heard about RN by then?? They should mail them out at same time in case some students have more than one program to decide on.....

Well for those of you working i didnt get anything today .....if they had mailed it monday or tuesday i would think we would have gotten by today.....getting frustrated now.....i would like to ask a favor....if anyone gets theirs friday or saturday will you please post that you got it. I have to work all weekend and i dont get off work till 7:30 at night so it'll be after 8 when i get finally get home.....it will drive me crazy not getting the mail.....but if one of yall dont mind posting at least i will know sooner than later...thanks so very very much!

Another quick question is .....has anyone else posts have the wrong time listed ? Its 11:16 am now and my posts say 3:15 pm?????

I will definitely let you know if I get anything in the mail. And yes the time is always off for some reason. I know some people in last years thread called and asked if they were accepted. I'm kind of scared to do that though lol

Was told by another person they are mailing out letters today. So I wouldn't even expect anything this week!

I just called enrollment and they told me they will be mailed out sometime next week, lol.

Cakers45, you may want to call and explain your situation about having to reply to your surgery tech acceptance by the first, they may be able to tell you if you were accepted into the nursing program.

Thanks, this is so crazy. I would have thought that I would know in time. I am really thinking that I may wait for the Nursing. Even if I don't get in this term there is always the spring. I don't want to wait til the 11th hour to reply either. There may be someone waiting that would accept the position. I may call just because I have a good excuse to know...lol

I called...the letters were mailed today. I asked about mine because of the timing on my response to the other. I did not get in. I am not sure if I was chosen as an alternate or not. Good luck to you all. I hope you get better news.

I'm sorry to hear that but definitely apply again in September. I know you will get in for spring! Thankfully they accept students twice a year!!

I just emailed another person and asked could I know if I am accepted or not because I may be going out of town sometime next week for my daughter's birthday and was told that the policy is that all students should be told around the same time so she said if I don't receive anything by Wednesday I could call her then and she would tell me.

I'm sorry to hear that cakers45, I heard that some people with only 28 points were accepted last spring, so definitely try again this fall.

And yeah, I was told before that they won't tell you over the phone or through email unless you have a reasonable excuse, such as deadlines for alternate programs. But it sounds like Wednesday should be around the latest then.
