Anyone else applying in September for the spring ADN program at Aiken tech?
That is the most recommended. However, I've looked at prestige also. The only fault I'm hearing from other nurses and my mom who is a nurse is that the sometimes the double tube (which prestige typically makes) has alot of background noise that can cause interference.
Financial aid- I know that we have lottery tuition for SC, Pell grants, and loans. I'm not sure for out of state students
Oh okay! Thanks for the info on Prestige. This is all great info!!!
If I'm not mistaken, I think I might qualify for in-state tuition. I thought I read somewhere that students living in Columbia and Richmond county, GA can petition for instate tuition. I'm not sure if that also qualifies us for SC grants though.
cpaschal, you mentioned you have a friend that was previously accepted into the program, right? I am curious to know which books are used beyond just the first semester. I am trying to get a head start on buying vs renting and whether to buy new or used. If I can save a little bit by renting a few of the books, I'd love to pinch every penny I can!

I've been reading up on it and although most people say get a cheapie. ..MORE people encourage a better brand because they are more clear and helps you learn sounds better.
