Agency sitting jobs or flu shots part time job

Published

Specializes in stroke/medsurg.

Hi. I am recently new graduate nurse in which I am working 3 days full time on a medsurg/ stroke floor and not getting paid really enough to get by. I am just starting the excelsior program for RN out of New York and I can do everything online and have 4 or 5 days off in a row all the time. I was hoping to find a part time like 2 day a week job sitting with a paraplegic or just doing clinic flu shots? I do not know where to start looking and was hoping for a good agency who did things like this? Anyone have any ideas or where to direct me to???

Thanks,

check with the pediatrician practices and see if the need any prn nurses for the flu shot clinics that they will be starting up any time.

Flu shots are generally seasonal. A sitter job could go on for years.

Do the sitter job.

Instead of working as a sitter, work as a private duty LVN and get paid for the work.

What exactly is a sitter?

TIA
