Hello friends!
I am an RN from the UK, currently going through the process of submitting documents to the California Board of Nursing to apply for licensure by examination.
My transcripts keep being rejected by the BRN, for various reasons including:
each subject cannot be graded as at the time, the curriculum was pass or fail. My school of nursing have explained this in a cover letter, stating that all subjects were passed successfully. Is there another way to explain this to the BRN?
Does anyone have any experience of having/paying for an agency to help with these issues? for example, O'Grady Peyton or a recruitment company?
I'd be willing to pay. I already have a green card, so I just need help with the other BRN requirements.
Thanks in advance,
Sue

Moved to the Nurse Registration forum
CA is one of the most hardest states to register with as a International Educated Nurse. If your university has done as much as they can and you still hit blocks you may have to consider another state if at all possible. Bearing in mind even when endorsing when trained outside the US the same issues will appear
Thanks for taking the time to reply!
Question: do you know if going through a recruitment agency would be a potential way around these issues? I understand I would have to then be employed by them for a period of time.
Thanks again!

No. Even if you worked for an agency you would still need to meet the requirements
