Hello! Anyone in here took the qualifying exams last May? Did you passed? Are you already done with your interview? Have you passed the requirements? Sorry for having such questions, I am just looking for someone who's also part of the program since i dont know anyone from the list :) Good Day!

Hello, there! No, it's cool, you've been very helpful! :) I'm so relieved I asked otherwise I'll look stupid if I go there on September 9th  Thank you again! God bless on your training!

@nurses_care_2012 sadly, as of now they are not yet releasing as to what area are we into, but they told us that maybe tomorrow they will tell us where. You also have the same feedback as my friend with regards to the training. She's also an outgoing RN Res. Anyway, this would be my first exposure as RN, so Im both excited and nervous and Im really hoping that I will learn a lot, as what you've said. :)

@veela according to whats been posted on the training office, they will start their registration on Sept 16, I just dont know if they will accept or entertain you guys if you visit them earlier. Sorry :(

Ill try my best to visit this forum every night to help you guys out. Just ask anything and Ill do my best to give you the answer asap. :) Godbless everyone

When did you graduate? AFPMC is really a good training ground. Grab all the opportunities to learn and experience doing bedside nursing care.

Anyway, it's fiesta in AFPMC today. I see new RN Res being assigned to the different wards for orientation. I think you know now what is your area. Who knows we have the same area. Hehe. :)

@veela thank you also and goodluck on your application! :)

@nurses_care_2012 Im batch 2012 :) ward assignments are already given earlier and mine's at 5d. :) tough ward as Ive heard but will make the most of it... Hopefully :) How about you, what area are you assigned to?

Busy days ahead of us! Now Im feeling the anxiety. Lol :)

^you're assigned at female medical ward? haha. goodluck!

Yes :) Thanks!

@amaezing12 I PMed you where I was assigned because some may identify me in this thread. Hehehe.

I'm just curious. Is your rotation every 3 months like with our batch? or they have it back every 2 months again?

Anyway, good luck. It maybe hard for the first 2 weeks but as days go by, you will feel like

you're one of the staff too. :)

Yeah! Thats true. Im still adjusting with the procedures and stuff but hopefully will be able to adapt soon. :)

Also, Im not so sure about the rotation if its every 2 or 3 mos, but I think, from what Ive heard its every 3 mos. Btw, thank you! And Happy Graduation :)

may i ask if how much is the training fee in RN training program in AFP Medical Center or is it for free? And is there a chance to be absorb if we undertake their training program?

It is for free.

But unfortunately, the chance to be absorbed is based on your backer.

However, backer is not much needed to be accepted in the training because I have heard that some RN Residents do not have a backer. But having a backer is an advantage.

High board rating is also a plus. And of course, you need to register early for the examination for RN Residents because it is easily filled up. :)

Woah, i thought this thread is already dead ..

How are you doin' @amaezing ?? How's life @ fem medical ward? hope you're doin' fine ..

-- I'm still adjusting here at PACU . Well , goodluck to us, RN Residents

-- And I wish luck for all those incoming RN Res . I know you can pass the qualifying exams .. aja! ;)

Hello! :) Im still adjusting, and hoping to adapt very very soon. :) Haven't seen you for a while huh. Anyway, goodluck to us! :) see you around...

Hi! May I know until when they accept examinees?

I'm planning to take the exam but I won't be able to go there yet.

And if I went there, will the exam be given immediately or we have to wait for schedule?
